Create multiple new compartments within an existing compartment

https://{targetURL}/api/v1/storageLayers//childLayers/bulk

Each compartment's icon accepts one of the standard values (unknown, shelf, samplebox) or a custom instrument icon name; when omitted, it inherits from the storage layer definition.

`altID` on each compartment is the external/custom barcode identifier.
