Update a storage compartment's properties

icon accepts one of the standard values (unknown, shelf, samplebox) or a custom instrument icon name. When omitted the icon is inherited from the storage layer definition.

`altID` is the external/custom barcode identifier for the compartment. It is stored separately from the compartment record and is searchable via `GET /storageLayers/forBarcodes`. Set it to link a compartment to a barcode from an external system.
